| Adriana ETCHABERRY - Our new Women Wines & Spirits of the World Club President |  In times gone by, women were associated with occasional tasks in the world of Winegrowing, Wine & Spirits and Gastronomy. Today women have become professionals of these various sectors.
Becoming president of “Women Wines & Spirits of the World Club is a great honour, but also a responsibility.
It's sharing the task with men and women, in order to encourage other women to contribute to these activities and to play a more and more important role. It's also facilitating them in the implementation and practicalities of this role.
Furthermore, it's to share and pass on to the general public, whether they be amateurs of wine and spirits or simply curious, and to invite them to push open the door to Winegrowing, Wine & Spirits and Gastronomy, and to discover that this universe is open to the entire world!
Furthermore, it's to develop more activities within the Club, such as the cultural side with the recently launched “Grapes of Culture” www.lesraisinsdelaculture.com <http://www.lesraisinsdelaculture.com> and the soon to be launched Taste and Flavour Workshops 2009/2010.
The Vice Presidents accompanying me on this adventure are Sandra DODDS and Laurent MéNARDIE.
In the spirit of friendship and conviviality, our " Women Wines & Spiirts of the World Club - Club Femmes Vins & Spiritueux du Monde " welcomes men and women from all horizons to join us!

| Régine LE COZ - Honorary President - Sharing and passing on…** |  The originality of the Club is to restablish and bring to light, in a fun and educational way via awarded wines and original recipes, the role and value of the various people involved in this international project: our Taste and Flavour Producers, our international wine tasters, our Taste and Flavour Pairologists…but also you, our Club members.
A story of the cellar, of cuisine, of the vegetable patch, of savoir faire and savoir être, of passing on recipes, formulas, methods, tricks, tips, grandma's secrets, mysteries that circulate from one end of the world to the other, to be shared and passed on as much as possible.
Sharing, discovering, imparting knowledge are all key words for me and for the Club, and after three years as president, I approach this handing over of presidency with complete serenity, knowing that this is exactly what this new team is all about. |
